Aggie Branczyk is a Senior Research Scientist on the Quantum Computational Science team at IBM Quantum, working to advance quantum science using IBM’s quantum computing platform. She is also an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Waterloo, an Affiliate Member at the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics, and an Associate Member at the Institute for Quantum Computing. Before joining IBM, her research was in the field of quantum optics applied mostly to quantum information science. Outside of work, she hosts a podcast called Physicists in the Wild, where she chats with physicists who pursued careers outside of academia.
